Q + A

What date should I RSVP by?

To reserve a seat and a plate, please RSVP by Friday, August 1st, 2025.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Due to the size of the hotels in our area, we did not block any rooms off. We suggest getting rooms booked soon before they fill up!

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

We are not allowing additional plus-ones or children to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your RSVP and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony will be outdoors at the point (all grass), if weather permits. If weather is not kind to us, the ceremony will be located inside at St Marks Lutheran Church, 104 E North St, Rushford, MN 55971. The reception and dance are at Brad & Rita Kelly's Residence at 40419 Cabbage Rock Road, Lanesboro MN 55949. The dinner will be inside, but on gravel, so please keep that in mind when choosing shoes.

Will there be an open bar?

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy a simple selection of beers and cocktails, however, we do recommend bringing cash to tip the bartenders for their services.

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

You can find our wedding registry here on our website or by using this link https://www.bakingsleys.com/registry We are registered at Amazon https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/bakingsleys Target https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift/bakingsleys Honeyfund https://www.honeyfund.com/site/kelly-kingsley-09-20-2025

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 302 N Maple St Rushford MN 55971. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue 15 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to get settled. We will make sure to have a couple refreshments to keep you cool while you wait.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

After the ceremony, it is a 25 minute drive from the ceremony to the reception. After travel time, there will be a 90-minute cocktail hour starting at 4:00pm for ceremony and reception guests where you can enjoy cocktails, small bites, and lawn games. The wedding party plans to arrive at 5:30pm.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos, and leave that to our photographers. During all other events, you are welcome to take any photo and videos you would like. We would also love if you share those with us!

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Additional updates or changes that need your attention will appear on our wedding website homepage.

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Kindly contact the bride at 5072515578, text messaging preferred, with any further questions ahead of the wedding.

I heard there were a few different versions of the wedding invite. Why?

Yes, we wanted to include everyone we love while also being mindful of our budget and space limitations. Our ceremony is off-site with limited seating, and dinner has space constraints too. Creating a few versions of the invitation helped us organize everything and make sure we could celebrate with as many of you as possible in a way that works. No matter which invite you received, just know we’re thrilled you’ll be part of our special day!

Where should I park for the ceremony and reception?

Parking for both the ceremony at The Point and the reception at Grub Town Pub is in a field. We recommend carpooling if possible, and if you drive a low-clearance vehicle, just be mindful of the terrain. Signs and parking attendants will help guide you when you arrive.

What type of shoes should I wear?

The ceremony is outdoors on grass, and the reception dinner is in a shed with gravel flooring, so we suggest wearing comfortable, sturdy shoes. Think wedges, block heels, flats, or even stylish boots. High heels may sink in the grass and gravel. If you want to change shoes for dancing, feel free to bring an extra pair!

Is the reception space heated or air-conditioned?

The dinner area is in a shed that is not climate-controlled, but the dance area can be climate-controlled if we keep the doors closed. We plan to only use it if necessary, so dress accordingly for the weather. Feel free to bring an extra layer just in case!
